Description: Welcome to our 3rd update of our $2.5k to $250k challenge where we will be taking on some risky investments in order to try to increase our portfolio 100x in the space of 12 months. After 1.5 months, we are up $1,200 from our original $2,500 i.e. we are now on $3,700. Comparatively, the market is down 35% while we are down around 50%. Considering that we were in negative numbers just 2 weeks ago, we are now incredibly happy how our investments have played out. As a guide, our portfolio would be around $1,750 if we had followed the movements of the market. In comparison with this, our portfolio is 110% higher. If you’re taking the time to actually read this, please understand that none of this is intended as a brag. Quite the opposite; we are only highlighting our exceptional gains to highlight that this is not regular in a bear market and anyone following our challenge should not expect these kinds of returns to continue… certainly not in a bear market!
